Emerald City was honored to perform at the Mercy Health Foundation’s 50th Annual Charity Ball in Fort Smith Arkansas in early December. This year’s theme was a Winter Wonderland that included a guest list of a record breaking 1,200 people.
Headlining the show was platinum recording artist Brett Young. Brett performed an intimate acoustic set of all his hits, including “In Case You Didn’t Know.” Emerald City hit the stage around 9pm for the Defrost After Party. The energy was high and the guests had a blast.
This year, Charity Ball organizers were hoping to raise $500,000. ECB is honored to be a part of such an amazing organization.
“We love that we will have 1,250 people in that room who will hear what great things Mercy is doing in the greater Fort Smith area. That is why we do these events. People who will be in that room have dealt with a lot of illness, and now they will be able to celebrate life and be with family and friends.”
– Hollye Dickinson (Senior annual giving officer for Mercy Health Foundation Fort Smith)
When the cool air comes in and the leaves start to fall, that is when you know it is getting into the “busy season’ for the best band for live entertainment. Between picturesque Fall weddings, national corporate conventions and holiday parties, the calendar fills up quick. In the last two months alone, Emerald City has traveled all over the country from Colorado, Kansas City, San Antonio, Phoenix, and all the way north to Chicago.
So many long travel days, in many different airports, fitting in sleep wherever we can, but we love every single minute of it. EC prides itself on being the BEST party band in the country and further proves that by some many repeat clients year after year, across the US. It is a wonderful thing to do what we love and to be able to travel and see the world while we do it.
“You guys are on a whole other level! We know how much your group brings to our event
and gets the crowd going, so we are the ones who want to say THANK YOU!”
