Last weekend Emerald City Band hosted their annual New Year’s Eve Celebration at The Hilton Anatole Dallas with great success. Rock the 22 was a fantastic opportunity to get down and party personally with our fans as we brought in the New Year. The event featured a meet and greet with the band before the party, a seated dinner for guests, followed by 3 hours of nonstop entertainment provided by none other than Emerald City Band and an afterparty at the hotel. Thank you to all of our fans who came to party with Emerald City Band, and thank you to the Event planner, Robert Kaufman and the team of vendors that put this event together. Southlake’s Annual Stars & Stripes event was this past weekend and Emerald City Band had the privilege to provide a rocking time for the crowd! Every year Southlake closes off the roads in their town square and shopping center and allows food trucks and entertainers from all over Dallas to celebrate USA! This year Emerald City performed on the main stage at Frank Edgar Cornish IV Park located in the middle of the shopping center. Surrounded by a beautiful fountain, lush trees, and enthusiastic fans, Emerald City Rocked the house! After the first set, we paused the music and dimmed the lights for a Spectacular Fireworks display that could be seen across all the parks! Post fireworks, Emerald City rejoined the audience to dance the night away. Thank you Southlake and our amazing fans for celebrating the 4th of July with us!
It was an early celebration for the Fourth of July last weekend in The City of Allen for the Emerald City Band. Market Street, Texas Health and many other Texas-based sponsors teamed up with The City of Allen to host one of the hottest events of the Summer, “Allen USA” a festival of live music, food, and activities all in celebration of the Fourth of July! Fans from all ages spread across Celebration Park to watch Emerald City Band rock out on the main stage.
Like always, Emerald City brought the energy from the top of the show, and quickly the front of the stage was packed with patrons, rocking out to their favorite hits. The set moved on to include “I Want it That Way,” “Dance with Somebody,” and “All I Do is Win.” Fans were moving and shaking, fired up with energy to spare. The show closed with “Club Can’t Handle Me” before the big screen was put away and the lights in the park were winked out to feature a fireworks spectacular by Pyrotecnico. The sky was a light with colorful sparks perfectly timed to a curated playlists of top hits.
Thank you to our loyal and new fans who came to support us this weekend! We had a great time and can’t wait to rock out with you again!
Emerald City Band was proud to be the closing act at this year’s Murphy Sounds at Sundown! Every summer Murphy hosts local bands from all over DFW to perform at the Murphy Central Park Amphitheater which hosts an audience of over 3000 people. The evening kicked off with an enthusiastic crowd and one of Emerald City’s Original songs “Make You Mine”. Audience members were perched with their favorite lawn chairs and picnic blankets from the main audience seating and overflowing all the way to the hill side. Once the party started, it didn’t stop! Adults and children alike were lined up in front of the stage ready to bust a move. Emerald City rocked the house with old and new hits like “September,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” and “Levitating.” Our front line singer, Jade, closed out the show with “Don’t Stop Believing” and the audience cheered her on by lighting up the audience with the flashlights on their cellphones.
Emerald City Band served as a perfect way to bring down the house on one of Murphy’s most popular summer events. Thank you to everyone who attended and we’ll see you again next year! Check out the highlights video below!

Texas Live! celebrated it’s one year anniversary on August 9th, 2019 and Emerald City Band was excited to be a part of the celebration.
Filled with a variety of restaurant, cocktail bars, and entertainment, the Texas Live Arena! celebrates everything sports, music, and fun related. Placed in the middle of the establishment where crowds fill the first and second floor while cheering on the Texas Rangers is a 100-ft LED HD television where games are shown. As soon as it was time for the band to perform, the television was raised and the band jumped on stage.
Throughout the night, the band immersed themselves into the crowd and interacted with fans and families, bringing the energy and party to a whole new height.
Overall, Texas Live! brings sports fans from all over to football, basketball, baseball, you name it; together for the best time; and Emerald City Band loved every second.
Happy 1 Year Anniversary Texas Live!
What a week it was for Emerald City Band over the Fourth of July. From playing at Addison Kaboom Town on July 3rd to the City of Hurst’s Stars & Stripes on July 4th, it was one of the best times the band has ever had.
The events were filled with great food, fun rides, and amazing entertainment from a number of talented bands and musicians. Before performing at Addison Kaboom Town, the 36th Infantry Division Concert Band and ESCAPE: A Tribute to Journey rocked the audience with phenomenal performances.
Right afterward, the firework show, known as one of the top ten firework displays in the country according to USA Today, went off before the band got on stage, and to be described in one single word, “breathtaking” is surely what it was.
The City of Hurst’s Stars & Stripes was the best way to spend the day on 4th of July. Not only did Emerald City love performing once again for the people of Hurst but the fireworks were beyond spectacular.
The members of Emerald City Band are honored and proud to be an American, play music, and entertain every single one of you.
Happy Birthday to the United States of America!
