As a corporate and special event band, Emerald City burst onto the Dallas music scene in 1983 and never looked back. Motion, Movement, and Energy are three words that best describe this 13 piece, 3 horn section super group that electrifies every audience with a combination of high energy dance songs from the past with the hits of today.
Emerald City Band has performed for President and Mrs. Bush at the White House twice, Ford Motor Company, Southwest Airlines, Microsoft, Super Bowl XLV, Apple and American Airlines to name a few.

Emerald City has shared the stage with such artists as Martina McBride, Michael McDonald, Huey Lewis and the News, Justin Timberlake, Garth Brooks, Mariah Carey, Dan Aykroyd, Sinbad, and the list goes on and on.
Through the years, ECB has served as the wedding band for many celebrity weddings including Dallas Cowboys Hall-of-Famer Emmitt Smith, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, Actress Angie Harmon, as well as some well-known celebrities we can’t mention in public (see our Wedding Band pagefor more information about weddings).

With over 4,000 weddings Emerald City Band has performed in the last 30 years around Dallas and all over the country, we know how to celebrate the most important day of your life. We work closely with area wedding coordinators to make your wedding a Once in a Lifetime experience. From the first dance to the unique sendoff, we know weddings and regularly perform at many of the high profile weddings that happen weekly around the Dallas area.

Sporting Events
From sporting events with Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Stars to parties during Superbowl XLV and the annual Emmitt Smith Charities Fund Raiser, Emerald City has always been one of the best live bands called upon to entertain professional athletes and sports fans in Dallas. For years, Emerald City played for all of the Dallas Mavericks home games and even performed at Mark Cuban’s Wedding! ECB has been the on-air band for the Cowboys TV Show.
